TROMP is an international music competition that is held every two years in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, with as alternating disciplines String Quartet and Solo-Percussion. The next String Quartet competition will be held from 15 till 23 november 2008.

A record number of contestants has applied: 21 quartets originating from 5 different continents.
Mr. Radim Sedmidubsky of the Skampa Quartet will join the jury of TROMP 2008.
